Mechanism of Action:
Like other medications that list Tadalafil as the main active ingredient, Tadacip-20 is a PDE5 inhibitor and it basically acts by enabling the blood vessels in the cavernous tissue of the penis to receive more blood. More blood in the penis means stronger, firmer erection. Tadacip-20 only has this effect when a man is sexually aroused; however it allows him to have an erection whenever aroused within a 36-hour period after the drug is taken.
Dosage:
Tadacip-20 by Cipla is the highest available strength of this drug. Other dosages, such as 2.5, 5 and 10 mg, are considerably weaker. The maximum dosage allowed is 20 mg within a 36-hour period, or one pill per that period. Tadacip-20 is taken when needed and there is no required dosage regime.
Precautions:
Tadacip-20 by Cipla should be taken with caution in men who suffer from a heart condition, kidney or liver failure, and also in men who are taking any sort of medication therapy, especially nitrates and alpha-blockers. Elderly people must consult their doctor before using Tadacip-20. Although there is not sufficient data to prove Tadacip-20 is dangerous for women, the drug is still not recommended for them. Tadacip-20 is not suitable for children.
Side Effects:
In some people, Tadacip-20 by Cipla may cause some unpleasant side effects. Less serious ones include headache, heartburn, stomach problems and nausea. In some cases the drug may cause low or high blood pressure, heart palpitations, flushing, dizziness, hearing and vision problems. Warnings:
Tadacip-20 by Cipla should not be combined with alcohol or other medications. Taking Tadacip-20 simultaneously with nitrate-based drugs and alpha-blockers can be very dangerous. Do not take Tadacip-20 if you have a history of priapism or any kind of sexual abnormality, or if your doctor does not recommend sexual activity for any medical reason.
